Post 4: What Reality Are You Creating?
October 26 , 2019
So for me one of the fundamental principles of realityhub is all about questioning the reality you are actually living in, going deeper into the nature of it and understanding the human experience beyond your current beliefs and programmes you have taken for granted. It’s asking the question, “what reality are you creating?”
In a sense it’s becoming more aware of your environment and the life you are creating for yourself on a day to day basis. Think about it. From the moment you wake up to when you sleep, you are making choices and deciding how you are living. Many of us go into routine mode and habitually go through the motions, get dressed, have a shower, have a cup of coffee, get ready for work etc. We are all creatures of habit and sometimes we lose the essence of spontaneity and “breaking out” of the tried and true paradigm of thoughts and ways of doing things.
What moment by moment decisions are you consciously making to create your reality? Or are you running on an automatic programme? Is there a subconscious programme at play? These are the questions I ask myself to break that habit of responding and acting in the same usual ways.
I ask myself to get curious about how I am creating my reality and therefore the experiences I am having moment to moment, then allow the space and possibility to be open to new thoughts, ideas and inspiration.
I truly believe that as creator beings we are living our life by design, by our intentions and that the things we cannot control we have to learn to navigate and make the best of. It’s just that a lot of the time we forget with the day to day routines of our lives how we can change, alter and redesign our live according to what we really want and dream of.
No matter which way you look at it, you are creating the reality of your life. All your past choices have led you to this moment. The key is to know this and be aware of the choices you make, to take responsibility for them, then have the courage and discipline to follow the choices that are for your highest purpose.
In closing, I have learned that just by introducing one “new thing” that brings you closer to the reality you want to create can be both beneficial and also achievable. For example, I am looking to go more plant based with my diet, so instead of just transitioning all at once I have introduced a plant based protein supplement to replace my whey protein supplement. I will then replace another plant based food for another and so on. Incrementally I will do this and therefore alter my “diet reality”. It’s taking the small steps that stick.
So, ask yourself what incremental choices can you make to steer your reality towards the way you really want to be living it. Good luck and go well on your journey of creating the reality you really want!
